Wedding
On December 18, 2009, Elena Grant (daughter of Sidney Grant) was married to Jordan Cragun. The bride and groom exchanged vows surrounded by candles and Christmas trees in a beautiful ceremony performed by Dr. James Keaton, grandfather of the groom. Jordan and Elena reside in Nampa, ID.
Engagements
Nancy Kellogg became engaged to Eric Going in August 2009. Nancy is the Secretary of Public Relations for Hope International Missions. Eric is a senior in the ministerial department at Hobe Sound Bible College. They plan to be married on June 5, 2010, in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Beth Griggs agreed to become the wife of Brian Wardlaw II on December 31, 2009. Beth is the new, smiling face at FEA Ministries, Inc. in the position of receptionist. Brian is a junior in the ministerial department at Hobe Sound Bible College. Their wedding date is set for August 7, 2010, in Hobe Sound, Florida where they plan to reside.
Missionaries of the Year
Congratulations to Bradley and Anita Halter who were chosen as the 2009 HIM Missionaries of the Year. A plaque was presented to Jeanne Schwartz who received the token of appreciation in honor of the Halters. Bradley and Anita have been missionaries with HIM since 1976 and are currently stationed in Taiwan.
Rodney Loper Named Senior Pastor
Rev. Rodney Loper was installed as Senior Pastor of Hobe Sound Bible Church on March 7, 2010. Pastor Loper pastored in Oklahoma City for six years before moving to Hobe Sound. He served as Community Life Pastor of Hobe Sound Bible Church for over two years. He then served as Acting Senior Pastor until March 7, 2010.
